When I arrived, the room wasn't ready, but once I got in, it was decorated to a nice standard. I was a bit disappointed to find the bar closed at 10:50 PM when I wanted a beer. The room felt a bit crammed with two twin beds, though.

The staff were all great with the dogs, but one staff member was not very helpful towards me. However, Balazs at reception was amazing - kind, friendly, welcomy, and polite. They were lovely when I asked to change rooms.

The hotel was adequate for a work-related stay in Birmingham. The rooms were small and in poor upkeep, emitting a horrendous stench of BO with leaking taps and dirty grout.
