Birmingham Strathallan Hotel, BW Signature Collection, Birmingham

When I arrived, the room wasn't ready, but once I got in, it was decorated to a nice standard. I was a bit disappointed to find the bar closed at 10:50 PM when I wanted a beer. The room felt a bit crammed with two twin beds, though.

The hotel's rooms are small but ideal for a few nights, and the staff are extremely attentive. The location is great for my stay, and the dining options offer a hot and cold selection with plenty of choices. However, the rooms are a little dark, and the juices at breakfast were poor.
